Can you guys stop arguing about pronouns and what exactly would have caused Nex to do this...It's suicide it's likely a multitude of things that nobody here could possibly have any knowledge or awareness of.Yeah, better mental health support like trans acceptance and anti-bullying measures in our schools.

Anti-bullying measures definitely. And I hope most people do accept transpeople. I've seen a lot of the time post starting transition people will start neglecting things like mental health and therapy. Transition might be a cure-all for a select few, but I wouldnt want to take the chance.

Yeah I guess she is a TERF. I'm uncertain if that is a bad thing, though. She makes a lot of good points in her essay from way back, atleast in my opinion. I definitely don't think she hates trans people and is some kind of monster, though. Just really passionate about women's issues.

Maybe it was Jacob Williamson? I know when that story first got shared here, a lot of the articles were using his old name.

Correct, however that person is right in that the initial reporting of Benedict's death did say "died as a result" of the beating, even though they didn't die on the school bathroom floor like someone literally beaten to death.Yeah, with how this was originally reported, it sounded like they died in the hospital as a result from the attack. I'll chock that up to being intentionally vague about an ongoing investigation. But I still hope the family can get an independent autopsy done.
