All the haters that assumed alot of shit before the show even aired are seething. They can't comprehend that it ended up really damn good.Pessimistics are toxic as fuck.
Oh, then most likely terrible.
I want to watch it, but I kind of want to watch the original again first. I don't know how much it has to do with the series or how much it relies on the series.

I only had time to check put the first and the very beginning of the second episode.
Yeah, the action scenes look fantastic. There are some weird animation issues during non fight scenes though where it's like overly expressive. Characters walking into a room will often do dramatic modeling moves and it's noticeably a lot. The last season of the original had this too, but 100x worse.
Wolverine sounds even more like McGruff the crime dog now and I love it. They haven't done it yet, but im really hoping for some of his weird growls that he does from the original. It's all campy af, but I can't get enough of it.
97 takes place right after the last episode of season 5 of the original. It's the only episode you'd really have to watch if you didn't wanna watch the whole thing.Imma have to rewatch it. I must've been distracted by all of the cool shit going on
He did growl 2 times in the first episode.he did one when the sentinel threw him at Beast and then again when Gambit was on his back and used his powers on Wolverines claws.
It's really not. Like what service did you think it was gonna be on?I had no expectation concerning which streaming site it would be on.
I just rewatched the first two episodes of the original and THAT was terrible. Kinda ironic you'll think the new series can be any worse.I don't even remember the original series or if I even saw it. I was just making fun of Disney.
As someone who doesn't really care for non adult animation anymore, but a huge fan of the original cartoon as a kid, is it worth watching? It's what, 10 episodes? It's not solidly adult animation, but they did grow it up a little by throwing around a few words you wouldn't see in a kids show. I don't think 90's fox kids would've let wolverine get away with saying "pissed".
I remember about 15 years ago, I tried rewatching the show and honestly, it just didn't jive with me anymore. I found it boring and melodramatic, but as a kid, I was 100% enthralled.

Why so serious?

two blacks?
damn, son
What's wrong with that?Just being a shit disturber
Is it on Disney? I want to check it out
Wait, how is Morph in this when he died in the second episode of the original?
been a while since i watched the original X-Men cartoon. used to watch it when it was on TV but i never watched the whole thing in a serialized way.Absolutely not.
so im wondering if i'll get lost while watching this... >_>
Wait, how is Morph in this when he died in the second episode of the original?Morph's revival was one of the overarching story arcs in the second season when he was revived and made a pawn of Mr. Sinister. After that he was on leave to deal with his issues (such as, you know, being dead)
