This whole thing seems like a "dumb, fringe people on both sides" thing. You have the people who cannot help but go out of their way to bitch about it. It's perfectly fine to criticize it and say it's not your cup of tea, but the extent to which some need to whine about it is silly. Then you have the weirdos acting like this is the turning point in some non-existent culture war, acting like this is the last bastion of sexy women.
