Of all the eras you could have chosen to come back, you made the mistake of coming back during an age when I was here to stop you.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

I know its a goofy show and logic is out the window.....but for most of the first season episodes, Phinster creates a clay figure which he turns into a monster and Rita sends down/enlarges-later. The camera pans over a whole shelf of these clay monsters.

I always wondered as a kid........why wouldn't Rita just bring to life the entire shelf and send them down? The rangers would be fucked.
'We're not gonna make it, are we? People i mean.'
'It's in your nature to destroy yourselves.'
Kinda random but this makes me want a sitcom about an evil genie and a super petty edgelord who is for some reason the only one who can see/hear him.

The evil genie will be free from his bondage if the edgelord will only wish it, but doesn't understand human psychology enough for simple tricks like pretending to not be evil, so he just continues cursing the edgelord, demanding to be freed and swearing increasingly severe fates for him.

Meanwhile, the edgelord finds himself in increasingly crappy circumstances where having an evil genie would really come in handy and as the series goes on, he really starts wondering whether dooming the world by releasing the genie would really be such a bad tradeoff for whatever minor inconvenience is currently ailing him.

... Come to think of it, isn't that pretty much the concept of the Blue Beetle?

This sounds familiar, but I can't recall any show like this, and now I also really want it. Damn you.

No bullying Billy.

He got enough of that just trying to be on the show.

Its okay to bully Billy

not the actor though
Normally I dislike when they take an old thing and shove a bunch of new stuff in for a remake, but Billy actually being gay is a change I would make if I could somehow make a perfect reboot of MMPR. Doesn't actually matter much for Billy, but it's more a nod to the actor, and gives him more of a reason to initially be meek, even though he's as toned, if not moreso, than the rest of the cast by season 2. Although I think he's found more huevos by then, it's been a while.
