/yawn. -every- year looks grim for Dems. They've won 2 out of the last 3 elections, and yet every time it was "Grim".biden only won last time by less than 100k votes iirc
biden only won last time by less than 100k votes iirc
I feel like you guys are just trying to be nervous about this. Its probably easy to feel like Trump has no chance if you live in a liberal area where its obvious to everyone how awful trump is. The fact is there are huges swaths of the country that literally worship the man, theyve gotten even more radical and fanatical since the last election
What are you referring to when you say he only won by 100K. He won the electoral 306 to 232 and not that it even matters but won the popular vote by around 7 million votes. He should do even better this time. Dude already has it won.im referring to the few states that were hotly contested where biden barely won. The popular vote unfortunately doesnt matter at all. Its pretty dangerous and not a good idea to think Biden already has it won. Thats just not the case at all
He should do even better this time. Why would he?
Why would he?people delude themselves into thinking that with how blatantly obvious how bad Trump is, that everyone else should see it too
He's gonna lose Michigan. The Dems have complete control of Michigan.

The fact is there are huges swaths of the country that literally worship the man, theyve gotten even more radical and fanatical since the last electionOne of those swing states you project him losing actually, and the question I go back to constantly is who likes him now that didn't already like him four years ago.
The Dems have complete control of Michigan.Hillary thought that too.
Hillary thought that too.No, the Dems literally do control Michigan's entire legislature, since 2022. The state GOP is also broke and in shambles.
Trump couldn't win with incumbent advantage. I have a hard time believing he'll win now when things are objectively better under Biden.Unfortunately though reality doesn't really matter as much for voters & most people so much as narratives do
So, you mean like every year?nonsense. Wisconsin is absolutely a swing state

Fix'd. PA, MI, WI, and NV aren't swing states. Biden already wins with this (extremely likely) map, and could lose NV and have it not matter.
The only real intrigue is if he can hold GA and AZ, and finally flip NC.
WI is indeed a swing state. MI and PA aren't really. The GOP in MI is broke and on the verge of extinction.MI and PA are definitely swing states
Wisconsin is absolutely a swing stateNot when it comes to the general. 2016 was an aberation.
MI and PA are definitely swing statesThey aren't. Like WI, 2016 was an anomaly. MI especially has swung hard left since then, as already stated in this topic, with the GOP there out of money and in a constant state of strife and infighting.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/f/fe243177.jpgI feel like this ignores primary results.
Really? Prices on everything have gone up. And no I'm not faulting Biden but you'd be a fool to think others aren't.Polls, as useless as they are, show people (correctly) blaming this on corporate greed, showing Biden's Greedflation messaging is working.

That said, Dems have won virtually every type of election, from special, to general, to local to state and national House and Senate hard since 2018, with zero signs of slowing down. Hell, they just won in ALABAMA running on abortion rights, of all things. The GOP is in shambles of infighting and is running out of money. There's no reason to believe Biden is the weaker candidate, here.
Not when it comes to the general. 2016 was an aberation.Biden won Wisconsin in 2020 by a mere 20,000 votes, thats not a number that gives me confidence
They aren't. Like WI, 2016 was an anomaly. MI especially has swung hard left since then, as already stated in this topic, with the GOP there out of money and in a constant state of strife and infighting.
Swing states actually have to, you know, swing. Not randomly go the other way once in 24 years. Regardless, there's every indication that all 3 are easy blue this year. The GQP is lagging behind money, burning cash for Trump's legal troubles, and are having to waste resources trying to reclaim AZ and GA.
Dude already has it won.this kind of mentality leads to people assuming they don't need to go do their part and vote. go out and vote, please.
Almost like the electoral college is a pointless and outdated institution that is only still in existence because it gives an advantage to the GOP.An amendment to the constitution is almost impossible.
It'll be okay, the polls are always skewed red because the only people who answer the phone for them are boomers. :v Biden has the incumbent advantage this time too.How often has it been a former President vs current President? People could see both as incumbents.
Biden has been loosing support rapidly due to what's happening in major cities economically and immigration issues among other things.lol? Based on what? Immigration being an issue for anyone not MAGA ceased to exist once the GOP killed themselves by voting down the immigration bill. It's a non-issue now to everyone else. Polls show people correctly blame the GOP for this, too.
I would genuinely be surprised if Biden gets a 2nd term and I'm not a trump supporter but the writing is on the wall here.
I'm optimistic about NCIt's actually been frustrating how the Dems haven't put more effort into NC. It's been teetering on the edge for a while now, and Obama showed it's winnable. This is easily the most effort they have put into the state in a long while, so here's hoping. Making the Right burn resources defending it is also a good cause.
