have not and won't watch it, mainly because i don't care, but also cuz they nerfed rogue's booty
He didn't look like that shot in 99% of the OGshow and it magically changed size all the time
maybe we're thinking of different characters, cuz like...uh, i'm talking about a woman.Typo
that said, they did seem to put Wolverine on fucking roids xD
Typo
but like...it was consistent af back in the 90s.What was?
What was?
have not and won't watch it, mainly because i don't care, but also cuz they nerfed rogue's bootyYou're missing out, we got a scene of her practically nude and she got felt up pretty good in the most recent episode. The envelope has been pushed very far for a Disney cartoon show.

The animation of female characters ASSESAnimation was anything but consistent in the 90s.
I feel like this would've gotten even more attention, for the exact opposite reason, all things considered.I cropped it to avoid spoilers. Also gonna put behind a spoiler tag...

Ive been very much enjoying it. Can anyone clarify exactly what rogues powers are? Its been a while since Ive seen the movies, but in those it seemed like she could absorb other peoples powers and use them.
But Im not sure Ive seen her do that in this series. What specifically are her abilities?
She can do that, and does it just by touch even if she doesnt want to. She can also fly and is super humanly strong and durable, but they didnt go with that in the movies.
But Im not sure Ive seen her do that in this series. She borrowed the bigot doctor's abilities so she could deliver Madelyne's baby.
Episode 5 alone changed the whole series for me. It's night and day the quality was from episode 4 to 5 is.
Its the same quality. Just different levels of intensity. One is setup, the other a shit hit the fan episode.
-- I already know what happened to most of that cast after the first cartoon ended (especially Jubilee)uh, no you don't, because this show is its own canon
-- It is easier to conclude that this cartoon is for the people who never watched the ORIGINALhuh? why on earth are you "concluding" that? this literally picks up right where the original cartoon left off. you seem to be fundamentally mistaken about what this series is.
from the rumblings I heard since the first cartoon ended, my favorite X-men Rogue is either dead or became so powerful she is some other worldly beinghuh? this isn't true at all.

That would have not been made had there not been a company trying to get people to subscribe to a streaming service.so?
Not mistaken. I know what this 'sequel' is, but also realize this has taken way too long since the first cartoon ended and several comics (and games) have done their own interpretations of the characters since then. I didn't even bring up the many things I've seen Cyclops doing since the first cartoon ended.none of this has anything to do with this series. you're being really weird about this for some reason, lol, and you are just coming off as really cringey.
That would have not been made had there not been a company trying to get people to subscribe to a streaming service. The original show is still a separate continuity from any game or comic or other show. You've seen different versions of Cyclops do other things.

-- It is easier for me to conclude that this cartoon is for the people who vaguely watched the original
As a matter of fact, from the rumblings I heard since the first cartoon ended, my favorite X-men Rogue is either dead or became so powerful she is some other worldly being. That is why I'm fine with not revisiting this, among other reasons.

Well. She is neither, but where the hell did this come from lol?

Ive been pleasantly surprised. Some things i like better than the original, some less, but its mostly faithful to the old show and that's all i really hoped for. He's also used to reference parts of the original comics version of some of the episodes. Like how he fit the role of Magik for the Inferno adaptation.
I like Morph getting more screentime and how they use him as a bit of fan service character, like they thought"we might not get to use Psylocke in this series, so let's have Morph turn into her for a few moments during a fight"
How long do you think Gamefaqs as a message board has been here having discussions about what happens in the comic books? It was here that someone had to tell me that Cyclops wasn't entirely blind when up to that point I thought he was.Are you not aware that the cartoon has ALWAYS been seprate from the comics?
I don't mind learning stuff, but I also admit I don't keep up with comics or try to keep up with my favorite characters past the media they are featured in. I already prefer video games because you can play them alone without asking people who aren't as 'geeky' to sit down and get into the lore.
would be nice if Disney Plus added the original series tho. heck might as well! The old show has been on D+ for years
its also nice that you dont have to have watched the original show to follow this. The nineties show has been on Disney + for a long time now. All the x-men cartoons are
surely it helps to add some context but at the time this show aired, i just catched it whenever it was on. its not like i watched it all the way through. lol
