my left arm/side is so itchy. No matter how many times I try to go for lotion or tell myself I will no longer scratch it; I just keep going back to it. The itch persists despite me getting to the point of breaking through the skin and getting to the liquid-portion of my skin. I see piles of my flaky skin all around me as I claw through my arm. The smell of iron lingers around me, and yet my brain still rewards my act of temporarily satisfying the great itch. I'm in the end of busy season with no time for own personal health. I don't know if this is physical, psychological, or a mixture of both.

In general, I've always been an itchy person, but this is really concerning since my arm has had no time to recover for months now as I won't let it.

Go now or at least an urgent care geez

I got see my dermatologist once a year for screenings. I had a biopsy done in the winter for out of safety. Don't mess around with this sort of stuff.
You know how fads are. Today it's brains, tomorrow, pierced tongues. Then the next day, pierced brains.

Had a similar issue not too long ago. Not quite as bad as yours but mine was caused by a new soap I was using. -_-

also the photoshopping of that 2nd pic makes it look so much worse

Yeah; but I'm really bad about keeping it as a habit. Plus, never seems to work anyways.
