it's good but it's so obviously a show for toddlers I can't imagine anyone without kids (or young niblings) getting anything out of itThats just not true. This isnt blues clues or dragon tales. This is a show that speaks to people of all ages, because it does an amazing job of making you relate to every character in the show.

it seems like it would speak to adults who have/have had kidsWell thats very judgy and snobby of you, but thats nothing new with you
childless adults watching this blatant toddler show is weird af to me. there is stuff in there for adults and it's high quality entertainment for children, but it's not really all that different from sesame street in that respect imo
Well thats very judgy and snobby of you, but thats nothing new with youI just dont get what childless adults get from this show and how its built a fandom with that audience. The things in it that are for adults, are directly about parenting and the experience of raising a toddler

i cant imagine recommending this show to anyone outside of the context of its great to watch with your kids
OkayJust giving another perspective for a user that posted about it. They might be expecting like a Pixar-like appropriate for all ages thing. This isnt that. This is very squarely a show with a 2-5 year old intended audience, and their parents
please give me a list of other media I cant recommend unless Im in a specific group, just so I know for later

That's a lie, we get one good show ayear in a good year.People are always upset about others enjoying something that they "aren't supposed to"
Anyway wha's wrong with adults watching Bluey? You're acting like they are doing something immoral. It is not your place to tell people how to spend their free time.

Same shit that happened with MLP, with the only difference being that MLP genuinely made people angry
https://twitter.com/CONEY/status/1779950244051968304Id like for this person to list everything theyve ever watched I can decide if theyre allowed to watch it or not
making a likeness to bronies is not a comparison i'd like if i was a bluey fan lmfaoOk
bizarre amount of infantilized adults that insist on wanting children's cartoons and animation to be taken seriously
Same shit that happened with MLP, with the only difference being that MLP genuinely made people angryI feel like MLP got blown out of proportion by both sides.
I remember seeing a clip from the show and it was basically about infertility and people that have to go through that while also wanting to have kids themselves.Yesh, thats what makes it different than a show that has random adult jokes hidden in a kids show. It actually has adults going through adult situations
Just from that I feel like this show was meant to be watched by the whole family together because the adult and kids both get something out of it, but I can also see either demographic watching it on their own time as well.

in five-seven minute episodes. A lot of very grown up things are implied, including things like miscarriages and vasectomies.
People are always upset about others enjoying something that they "aren't supposed to"Nobody particularly cared about them liking MLP.

Nobody particularly cared about them liking MLP.While I do think there was a.. borderline homophobic hatred of men who liked MLP, there was definitely a lot of men who liked MLP for.. different reasons other than just the quality of the show.
Spreading around how much they wanted to fuck a cartoon pony, that was pretty much why bronies got the treatment they did.
Nobody particularly cared about them liking MLP.That wasn't until later

That wasn't until laterWho gives a fuck what 4chan users find upsetting?
I'm talking about the very start of it becoming popular.
People kept posting reaction images, and it made 4chan users upset, people recognized that it made them upset, and then started doing it to continue making people upset.
Who gives a fuck what 4chan users find upsetting?Look man, I'm just saying that was why it started to get popular in the first place

You should look deep within yourself and ask why you know what's happening at 4chanBecause I was frequenting it back then :V
