I looked it up and sure enough. Area 51 raid all over again except cheese. Thing is it's not a government stockpile. It's a Kraft stockpile.

Obviously. If it was government cheese it would be down by the river and not in a cave.

Actually part of Springfield underground IS partially built into a cave. The naturally low temps apparently make it perfect for storing cheese.
