It's like a snapshot of the mid-2000's when everything was dark, brown, and edgy. It's the only Zelda game in the entire franchise where I just stopped playing it partway through my first playthrough and had to restart to finish it months later.
As the morning sun rises, my lingering memories fade. I no longer see your silhouette. It's too far gone into the haze.
Great game. Some of the best dungeons/temples in the series. Actually, pretty much the last game with consistently great ones (SS had a few, and Tears weren't half bad).

It has its moments, but holy shit is the opening slow as fuck and drawn out like crazy.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.
Good game but enemies need to hit harder later in game.
No lollygaggin'.
I thought it was great. Pretty much the last Zelda game that I enjoyed tbh.
Very fun dungeons, love seeing unique ones like Snowpeak/Arbiter/CitS but Twilight Palace was a bit lackluster and Hyrule Castle should have had a bit more to it and the overworld could have used a little bit more general filler too.

It's a good game, but like an *okay* Zelda game. I felt like it was too linear and there really wasn't too much side stuff to do. Hyrule field is also stupidly large but there's nothing to do on half of it except find Heart Pieces or Poes

To this day I have still yet to beat twilight princess.

I didn't have a problem with the game itself.....I just got tired of the unneeded waggle controls mad quick since twilight princess was my first wii game and so I obviously had to get that version compared to the gamecube one.

.....really wished I got that gamecube version instead. At least fishing on the wii port was cool.

Fantastic game, best Zelda dungeon design.
Ehh. I don't wanna call it bad, but it dropped the ball fairly often.

Yeah, and I need to play again.

I didn't know about the mirroring they did to it until a few years ago, and it will probably be completely different since I was used to how the Wii version looked.
...I think I'm done here...
My first playthrough was the most addicted Ive been to a Zelda game but as far as lasting impression goes its my least favorite 3D Zelda Ive played (have not tried SS-TotK yet). Legit felt scammed by Hyrule Field near the end of the game after how it felt to first set foot there & with how much the sections between dungeons drag on it can be hard to find motivation to soldier through on replay... which especially sucks bc my first time around my interest faded right before the last dungeon.
Wolf Link still sucks in the Year Of Our Jesus 2024, and Nintendo wasted a potentially interesting villain by making Ganon the villain again.

Other than that I like it. Dungeons are fun, items were creative, and the world was filled with a wonderfully melancholy ambience (the Wii U remaster did a lot of heavy lifting there though. >_>)

It's my favorite Zelda game
I know it might be wrong, but I'm in love with Stacy's dong
Hero Mode on the Wii U puts this game into top tier territory

Mediocre game highly elevated by some of the best dungeons in the series.

It becomes a good game once the introduction and tutorials are over, keeps building into a great game, especially after collecting the Master Sword (the Arbiter's Ground portion in particular is one of my favorite sequences of any game ever), and unfortunately has an underwhelming endgame. The final boss run was neither good nor terrible; it was just mediocre and felt flat. Still, a fantastic game that I wish was a little more sharp.

It was the first Zelda I played, having been on Sony systems up until the Wii launched, and made me an instant fan. Played nearly the entire series up to that point in the following year and soured a bit on TP, but I can safely say it's my favorite of the 3D games now.
She/They, no substitutions~
I just played it for the first time. It definitely isnt one of the best Zelda games, but that bar is very high. It was still a good game, for sure.
Live action Hungry Hungry Hippos though, now that was a sport. ~Aeon Azuran
Amazing game with some of the most awesome boss encounters in the series.

Ugly character design and art style and the world is a little bit drab and empty but man dem dungeons mmm yum yum nom nom nom

Lakebed temple is my favourite dungeon in the series
Ghosts are cool.
Great game on paper, but it lacks soul. 8.8 is a good score for it.
I am the Cheese! I am the best character on the show! I am better than both the salami and the bologna COMBINED!

Every time I think "oh f yes, I love Twilight Princess" and sometimes I would place it even above OoT, only behind ALttP.

Every time I replay it I'm like "Damn, I'm at the part that sucks", but for some reason it feels like there is a dozen of these parts, and that's why I still have to put OoT above.

Still great game.
Planning is the process of replacing chance with error.
Yeah, very good.

Argorok is still probably my favourite Zelda boss fight.

For me, TP is one of the absolute lowest points of the series. Unremarkable OST, fugly characters, piss easy combat/dungeons, wolf link is an eye rolling addition that boils down to a single button QTE here and there. the worst offender imo is the plot, literally nothing important happens in the game. Hell, I find it hilarious that even aonuma himself doesn't understand the meaning of zant's neck snap at the end of the game:
https://www.zeldadungeon.net/origin-of-zants-crazy-neck-moment-explained-but-reasoning-is-still-unclear/

:)
I have mixed feelings on the game. I enjoyed the playful dynamic that Midna and Wolf Link added to the game. Midna was a unique companion and I enjoyed her talking back to Link. The dungeons themselves are usually pretty good.

But everything in between the dungeons can be a slow slog to get through. However I'm not sure the it's worse than other 3D zelda games. Backtracking and it taking hours in between dungeons are a complaint I have for every Zelda game, especially the 3D ones.
