I do wish that we had more time with Magneto as a good guy, he only was" the leader" for like two episodes before he's radical again...the problem when your rushed for time. But Spiderman plus Onslaught hype is real.

Pretty sure Spider-Man's cameo here confirms they're gonna do a revival of his animated series too.I think they alluded to doing something like that. Beast's casual mentioning of Kamar Taj indicates that the series isn't afraid to mix in other comic series, I think we're going to be getting a few other reboots besides Spiderman.

Those final few scenes with Valerie Cooper describing what many feel when watching the news along with Bastion's apathy speech hit hard. It's crazy how an 5 hour long animated series is able to easily capture what Fox was trying to do for 2 decades.
This episode also has my favorite quote from the season with the Wolverine/Nightcrawler banter.

Can someone refresh my memories?At one point MJ disappeared and replaced with a water based clone, like Hydro. Her body destabilized and died. At one point Madame Web tells Peter that the real MJ is still alive, just in another dimension. In the final episode, after the whole spider carnage thing, MW told Peter she was taking him to find MJ right before the credits rolled. Since Fox cancelled it we never got the payoff for that.

I thought Spiderman Unlimited was sort of suppose to be a follow up? Well...that failed hard.Spider-man unlimited is kinda. An odd duck because from what I have heard its production got really screwed up when the Sony/marvel deal to make the Raimi spider-man movie got signed and heavily restricted what they were allowed to use for the series

I didn't even make it through one episode before dipping. Got the point where I'd just set the VCR to record Digimon then sleep in on my Saturday.
