That's not a gacha game and I just realize now i typo'd the title. Crono Trigger is basically the best rpg ever though so I understand the desire to recommend it.1
I want one with a decent story
What's a gacha game?it's pronounced "gotcha!" because you think the game is free, but it ends up costing hundreds of dollars if you wanna win. then the devs say "heh...gotcha!"
Any Kemco gameOn the one hand, yeah. Passable stories with plot and characters, free on my phone, turn based, most have anime aesthetics. It's just missing a character gacha.
it's pronounced "gotcha!" because you think the game is free, but it ends up costing hundreds of dollars if you wanna win. then the devs say "heh...gotcha!"It's not true but it basically is. That's why I bounce from game to game when the free stuff dries up.
Does Brave Exvius still exist? iirc it's closing or closed now.Not that I know of. The Chinese server shut down in 2022, but the global version is still up and running. People are speculating that it's dying, but in the same way that people have been saying "gamefaqs is dying" for years now
What's a gacha game?They are a live service game that encourages you to play to get premium currency to do gambling style pulls to try to win good characters abd sometimes gear. Then lowers the odds enough they hope you decide to buy more of this currency.
Granblue Fantasy is basically that. Old af for a gacha but it's probably the best in terms of what they offer to F2P players.I already got bored of that one, it was ultimately slightly too uninteractive because of the autoattack iirc.
Why would anyone willingly walk into the spiraling hole of gacha games?Because I'm really bored. I've already touched bottom once and spent too much so now I just need a new game every couple weeks.
Because I'm really bored. I've already touched bottom once and spent too much so now I just need a new game every couple weeks.That would be playing with fire for me. The reason I haven't touched Brave Exvius in years was because I was spending tons of money on it. Not gonna risk falling back into that constantly lol.
And yes I am aware that makes it sound like drugs
Any Kemco game
If you're specifically interested in story, Fate/Grand Order is a strong recommendation.
* OK or betterI feel like we have different definitions of okay. It doesn't need to be so good you wpuld want to read it as a book, I want a defined goal and a few amusing characters.
* gacha
