Flat Earth. Dont get me wrong. The other ones are still ridiculously stupid and sound just as, if not more, outlandish, but Flat Eartherism is the only one you can absolutely test and disprove within your local area (well, some of QAnon too, but thats a mixed bag (of trash) and people somehow still believe it because durhurr, I can still see the ships on the water when theyre far away!

Wasn't there a conspiracy that JFK was actually alive, had merely staged his own assassination, and would return to America to run as Trump's VP. Didn't a bunch of people actually go to Texas, because they thought Kennedy would be showing back up?

@CassandraCroft is this true?
The
Shapeshifting reptilian aliens is the most insane conspiracy theory followed by flat earth but not accompanied by the moon landing.
Reptilian shapeshifters and flat earth are physical impossibilities. Qanon and no planes 9/11 are just debunked lies.

I guess more effort has gone into conclusively trashing flat earth, if only because reptilian is so obviously ridiculous. So anyone still believing that would be the most stupid.

There's an anonymous person who posts on 4chan (8chan??) who goes by Q and posts cryptic messages that a lot of brain-damaged alt-righters try to interpret as meaning all sorts of things. They think that Biden is actually dead and the guy you're seeing is fake, that Trump is still the president and ANY MINUTE NOW will activate some sort of Order 86 with the military to take back the White House, etc.

Flat Earthers are ridiculous but theyre at least coming from a place of if I cant see it I dont believe it. The only QAnon (I think) conspiracy Ive heard is about adrenochrome harvesting from children, which is insane but child sacrifice is a thing humans have done. Even the no planes theory, despite the obvious evidence proving otherwise, can be somewhat explained if they started with the Pentagon and worked backwards.

So I think the shape shifting reptilian aliens wins, because theres not even a shred of logic involved. Were not only accepting that there are aliens, but theyre reptilian, and theyre able to shapeshiftthen determining that they the real ones in power. It takes so many logical leaps with nothing at all even in the realm of being tangible.

Theyre all crack pot theories, but the one just seems too far out there.
No matter our origin, we are all one family, we all share one planet, and we all need to feel loved and accepted. We are more alike than different.
Pond Earth is pretty damn stupid.

Basically, Trump is a civic messiah who will save the world (and not just the United States) from the New World Order/Illuminati who are Satanic cultists that gets high by drinking the adrenaline-rich blood of child victims of Satanic Ritual Abuse.
This will be done via a countercoup where Trump declares martial law, and most of the US government, celebrities, and free press will be disappeared to Gitmo, subjected to military tribunal, and summarily executed. (This is something the Qanonists genuinely find desirable)
BTW, the Saudi royal family aren't Muslims. They're literal devil worshipers. Trudeau is Fidel Castro's biological son. Hillary Clinton is the granddaughter of Al Capone. Angela Merkel is the biological granddaughter of Adolf Hitler. Also, Trump had Bush Sr and McCain secretly executed.

Also, whenever Trump does something stupid, it's actually a secret code. Like, his misspellings, inappropriate capitalizations, and typos all have secret meanings.

Oh, and all of this comes from anonymous Nostradamus-like postings on 8Chan.

THAT is Qanon-- or at least what is Qanon-canon anyway (splinters of the fanbase have come up with their own weird shit like child sex trafficking bases on Mars and that JFK Jr cult)

Correct. Which of course doesn't make sense, esp. since 99.99% of Christians have zero problems reconciling the existence of God and a round earth.

A small minority of flat earthers are secular contrarians. Basically it goes, "The government is nothing but lies. The government claims that the earth is round. Therefore, the earth is flat." Basically it's the same mentality as the western tankies who automatically take whatever the opposite position of the west is.

That was CGI composite footage you see, and the missiles were disguised with holograms of planes *this is the most common version). (there are variations to this, with my favorite being a space laser disguised by mind control rays to create mass hallucinations of plane crashes and a "fake" tower collapse. Oh, the laser vaporized the towers, according to them. As for the passengers, this group's claims vary, but it most often has something to do with the supposed basement/military base/FEMA camp/military laboratory under the Denver International Airport.) Oh, did I forget to mention that the No Planers accuse the regular Truthers of being a government disinfo group? Because why else wouldn't they let No Planers into their groups, forums, etc.?

BTW, two of the founding No Planes truthers were economic advisor appointments of Dubya's, I kid you not.

its gotta be flat earth. These people will spend years of their lives just discussing how the earth is obviously flat because you cant fly to antarctica or some shit

Its also deceptive because it seems like just a bunch of people rambling about the earth being flat but its almost ALWAYS linked to anti-semitism somehow, just as most conspiracies are.

Don't forget all of the proof against it that is obvious to even the most ignorant layperson. Photos of space, ships rising from behind the horizon, Google Earth, planes traveling across the globe. That is an awful lot of effort just to disprove that God exists.

See my previous post (post #26)

The official canon is restricted to the Nostradamus like "drops" on 8Chan that have failed to deliver "deception is sometimes necessary," Q claims.
In addition, there are various offshoots and fanbases which add their own spin to the conspiracy theory, like pedo bases on Mars, space aliens, the JFK Jr cult, sovereign citizen legal voodoo, and blatant antisemitism (the Q drops only use dogwhistles)
Again, these are not canon, but rather offshoots.

Why do you say this?

They're all completely ridiculous. Choosing one completely impossible and ridiculous option over another isn't exactly easy.

However...

An argument could definitely be made that aliens (and thus Reptilians) are far more likely (in theory, I don't believe in this crap) than the Earth being flat. Statistically, there is almost certainly some form of alien like out. Even though the likelihood of it being anything beyond bacteria, or some form of life beyond single cell organisms is extremely low. Still though, any form of alien life (even Reptilians) is more likely than the Earth being flat, which is completely impossible.

Because there are patents for it. Yeah, tinfoil hatters of all stripes view this as proof that something exists and is being mass-produced or is well beyond the prototype stages.

I don't know--and don't want to know what Qanon is, so I'm just going to rank the other three.

Reptilian aliens is such a laughably dumb idea that it's hard to imagine anyone taking it seriously. There are plenty of simpler and more reasonable explanations for any possible observation that might have lead to this conclusion. However, as it is the only one that is not easily debunked, Russell's Teapot convinces me that I should call this the third dumbest.

The earth being round is easily verifiable by anyone with the means to travel around it. Even for those who do not, it can still be easily verified by simply analyzing flight paths and observing that they move along great circle patterns, which would be an immense waste of fuel if the world were flat. Even for those who are not that observant, it can be easily verified by calling someone on the other side of the planet and asking whether the sun is up. This is clearly a very dumb theory that can only be believed by someone deliberately refusing to see reality for what it is.

However, first place absolutely must go to the no planes theory. The planes were filmed. There are countless testimonies from eye witnesses who are still alive today . You can look up the planes by flight number and learn the identities of the passengers and crew, corroborated by multiple sources, and compare against historical obituaries and/or public records to confirm that these people did indeed all die on the same day. Most of this information was completely unavoidable for the entire year of 2002 and almost every September every since. There is absolutely no way anyone can possibly be sincere about believing this one.
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.

And there is a new one by the type that dwell on Facebook comment perpetually, that China was behind the Russian invasion of Ukraine and Hamas's attack on Israel, offering no proof as always.

Oh, yeah, some of them are huffing the Epoch Time fumes. Epoch Times basically depicts the CCP as Illuminati-lite (Basically, just replace "da J00z" with "teh CCP" in the same way that you would replace "da J00z" with "derp *fart* Jesuits" in a Jack Chick tract. Except that the CCP doesn't go back that far into history, and isn't quite as all-encompassing/powerful as the Jews/Jesuits/Satanists/Freemasons/Illuminati *or in the cases of the hardcore tinfoil, all of the above*)

Yep. It's worth mentioning that the Chinese version of the Epoch Times is actually as nutty as the English version when it comes to peddling conspiracy theories. They'd resort to anything from astrology to numerology to "predict" the fall of the CCP, like claiming that they'd be destroyed by late 2023, simply because the Soviet Union only lasted 74 years. There was another story couple of years ago where some anti-CCP messages were discovered carved into a rock somewhere in China, and Epoch Times insisted that it's some sort of ancient prophecy...that happened to use simplified characters which didn't exist until after the 1950s.

Funnily enough I haven't seen the physical Epoch Times for ages in Sydney. They burnt their bridges with the local Chinese community during COVID, where several Asian Australians were racially attacked, by spamming mailboxes with claims that it was some sort of Chinese bioweapon, which could be cured by "denouncing the CCP".

I've heard from some flat earthers also that those people are hiding God in the firmament. NASA especially, because they say the Hebrew word Na-sha, meaning "to deceive", looks like "NASA". There is some Biblical literalism baked in it seems. In fact I think the guy who wrote their flat earth bible, the 1800s pamphlet Zetetic Astronomy: Earth not a Globe, was trying to create (pseudo-) scientific experiments to prove Biblical claims. Flat earthers still use the debunked experiments in that book. If you debate a flerf long enough their religious beliefs will come out eventually.
