I've seen Menace II Society a long time ago but never this film (I know they usually go hand in hand when people talk about them.) It was pretty good! I enjoyed it a lot. I knew Ricky was marked for death right from the beginning lol

Also I know they werent thinking straight after Ricky got shot, but dragging him all the way home and just plopping him on the couch in front of his wife, baby, and mom seemed like something that couldve been handled better >_> Just saiyan.

Lol @ the Cuba Gooding Jr character and his dad Morpheus looking the same age

The way his baby mama started crying was poorly acted

One question I have on something I noticed.

At the end of the prologue when Doughboy is put in the cop car a kid around their age wearing red with long curly hair was asking what happened. Is there a chance that was Ferris, the guy who was the leader of the gang that killed Rick?
Every day I wake up and promise I will be nice to everyone, then I deal with people at work and remember why that will never happen.

Whenever I hear Boys N the Hood, I was think of Tales from the Hood - which I unironically also love

This reminds me of the movie dead presidents, and what happens when a bright young man makes a single wrong decision in life that eventually spirals into more until finally their downfall.

Just got added to Hulu the other day if you weren't aware, and it's in HD. First time it's been available anywhere since DVD and the master looks great.
