They're about the only publisher I've played since mid February lol <_<

Crisis Core, Remake, Rebirth, FF1, FF2.
The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt.
Final Fantasy XI and Star Ocean 5.
No matter our origin, we are all one family, we all share one planet, and we all need to feel loved and accepted. We are more alike than different.
I played some FFT and FFTA2
It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

FF6 Pixel Remaster
I was about to buy it and realized the GBA version enhancements like extra summons, Dragon's Den, and Soul Shrine aren't in the Pixel Remaster. Big mistake. I guess the definite way to play FF6 atm is the Steam version with mods to make it better.

I've put over 200 hours into Rebirth. It's just so fun.
The Official Sons of Sparda of all GameFAQS boards.
June 10, 2018. The day Dante returned to us. Do what you want, just don't expect to get paid.
Lots of dragon quests, some FFXvi, all of rebirth.
We all ate the biscuits, Fighter. We can all see through time.

FF6 is my all-time favorite video game, so I had every reason to be hyper-critical of it; bearing that in mind, it's about as good a remaster as I could've reasonably hoped for. The remixed songs range from great to gorgeous ("Searching for Friends" in particular goes fuckin' HARD), the updated battle backdrops and effects are very nice, and they finally fixed that syncing issue with the ending cutscene vignettes / soundtrack that's plagued every previous rerelease of the game.

My only real nitpicks are some changes to the Opera House performance, and the remixed Narshe track is a bit muddier than the original.

My opinions on the GBA extra content are mixed. Give me a version that has the four new Espers and a simple boss rush of the overpowered 8 Dragons + Kaiser Dragon and I'd be happy.

They really fucked up the English opera and I can't help but feel like it was intentional.

Here's the French version for comparison:

Ehh, I don't think so. Almost bought Sleeping Dogs again the other dya, though, and wouldn't mind replaying DQ11.

And watch the city spread out just like a jet's flame
I replayed my way through the Tomb Raider trilogy for the nonillionth time a couple of months ago.

I gave Nier Automata a go but rage quit that utter garbage after only an hour and was left wondering how Square could go from the utter magnificence in Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to this pile of horse manure in Nier Automata.

Is the Opera House performance something that can be altered if you switch on the 'original' soundtrack in the menu? I didn't strictly hate it, but I might end up doing that next time if the game allows it.

Rebirth. I've come close to playing FF4 Pixel Remaster, but there's just too many games.
...I think I'm done here...

Well...

I've of the opposite mind. I thought Shadow of the Tomb Raider was a massive step down from Rise of the Tomb Raider and had a messed up plot and a terrible ending. As for Nier Automata, it's one of my favorite games ever. People are entitled to their opinions though.

By the way, in Nier Automata, did you get past the opening sequence by any chance? Lots of people play that on normal difficulty and switch back to hard afterward.

That would be acceptable as well, although I enjoyed the Dragon's Den. Was a good, long challenging dungeon before the finale with the Boss Rush in the Soul Shrine.

Yeah, I've basically binged most of the FF7 stuff this year (OG, Crisis Core Reunion, Remake, and Rebirth). Skipped out on DoC because it looked and sounded awful.

No.

Squaresoft was my favorite dev of the 90's and I consumed almost everything they put out. These days The developed games are much less though they still publish a number of games I like.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.
Yeah. They're one of my favorite devpubs, really, and they consistently have been since the NES.
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.
I did a bit of the Yokai Watch event in XIV but all the zones were too crowded to get much done so waiting for the fervor to die down before going back

Edit: Oh, wait, also did a full LP of Final Fantasy Legend II if we're counting Squaresoft
She/They, no substitutions~
Yes, the entire Pixel Remaster series.

Yeah I beat FFXII
Currently playing: Nothing
FF7, Crisis Core Reunion, FF4, FF12, and now FF7 Remake.

Tried to play FF13, but I have no PS3 controllers anymore and using my always-dead PS4 controllers was being more annoying than anything. So idk when I'll go back to that.
