Sure, but never just milk alone.

I have a half a glass with my first meal of the day which is at lunchtime in the early afternoon but is always breakfast food.

I get my milk from a very local dairy farm. I prefer whole creamline milk. Non homogenized. The kind you have to shake really well before pouring because the cream separates. Its so much better than other milk. Im glad I live surrounded by farms in such a heavy farming state.

I haven't had dairy milk in a few years now. I switched to plant-based alternatives, especially love almond.

Yep.
Casein protein, a slow digested protein is good to have before a long period of fasting/sleep, especially if you lift.
So I usually have a glass before bed
If your lactose intolerant that's fine, but many of us arent.
