Oh, for sure. There are absolutely people that I know that I used to get along w/ or TRIED to get along w/, but they were just terrible human beings, and so fuck'em.
This may sound obvious, but it's super easy to be happy for people that you like.
For sure. I wish the best for my closest friends and (most of) my family. I get happy for them. But there are some people from my hometown/school that I would t piss on if they were on fire.
I guess what Im saying is this subject is nuanced and you shouldnt feel bad for turning your back on the assholes who had it coming.
I got sucker punched in high school while trying to deescalate a fight between my friend and about 5 other guys. They never saw charges because one kid was classically My dads a lawyer.
Two weeks later his house burned down and he was going around school asking for donations in this dumb church collection plate. He didnt get but like $40.
