Expensive? Yes. Time consuming? Not at all. Takes me about 3 minutes to make the rub. Its just finely ground espresso beans with my coffee grinder, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, rosemary and thyme. Rub it on. 3 minutes on each side. Down the hatch.
