What do you mean "which assassin's creed?" That's like saying you've never heard of call of duty or final fantasy. It's fine if you haven't played it, but saying what you say is just nonsense. Not when its clear as day I was referring to this game specifically, rather than series as a whole. Idk how you missed that.

Being unaware of the latest installment of a series you never played, had any interest in nor intention of ever playing is far from nonsensical.

The correct take is to not give a shit. Not like AC has been a Scion of historical accuracy up to now.Yeah, the series has never been about historical accuracy. The opening disclaimer even says that's it's a work of fiction that was "inspired" by real events. So they take some actual history and craft a fictional story that loosely connects to those people and places.

No it isn't.I only said probably, and no games success is guaranteed by virtue of being AAA. Either way, we wont know until the game releases.
When it's a AAA game? Yeah, it is. Man, that new Mario platformer won't sell at all because I've never played Mario so I don't know what it is. Like... Come on.
We aren't talking about an indie game or something. That's like saying you've never heard of Resident Evil. Even if you don't know all of them, it's ridiculous to act like the game won't sell.

Always on-linewrong
Realize that Yasuke and how they handle him is a non issue, and that the game has actually real problems that are worth criticizing.
- Always online despite not having any multi-player components.
- No gameplay in the trailer
- It being a Ubisoft game
- It most likely being like past AC games and having a ton of bloat.
This. Even as far back as the 1st game, they took several liberties with history. Especially since all the games center around magical golden apples that can alter reality that came from an ancient race that preceded all other life.
Yasuke is pure combat he has only some very bad stealth abilities & no hidden blade so he can't assassinate anyone even if you somehow manage to sneak up on them.Which would make sense. I would imagine it's hard to blend in or be sneaky when you are the only black dude in like all of Japan.
I'm hoping we'll get some actual gameplay footage soon, since summer games great is coming up. But yeah it's wild to release a trailer for a game coming out in 6 months and not show any actual gameplayJune 10th probably at the Ubisoft Forward thing.

Wait.. so you would have to switch to the other character if you want to play mostly stealth?
I did a little digging. Seems there's few accounts of yasuke, but what there is is reference to him being given stipends and having the duty of carrying nobunagas swords. Both are samurai things specifically. Bit odd that there's not more history about him though.
