Dunks are cringe. Worthless 2 points is like a turnover.
NBA has moved onto fast break 3s.
In terms of analytics a Dunk/Layup is better than a three point attempt.
The priority goes: 1. Free Throw 2. Layup/Dunk 3. Three point shot
Obviously the first two are a lot harder to get an attempt at than the third one which is why you see the third one more commonly.
