A few months ago I had a day where I woke up and my right eye had blurred double vision. I went to an eye doctor and they found that my ocular nerve was a little swollen. It went away and hasn't happened since, but I had a follow up appointment with a specialist. He also saw some swelling in the nerve and decided I'm gonna get an MRI to see if there is any underlying issues in my brain/skull that would cause something like that.
He is not concerned, more just checking the boxes JUST in case there is something going on there. *shrug*
I had similar problem and it turned out to be not good.
According to every neurologist I spoke with however, I was told cancer would affect both eyes so it's probably not that if it puts your mind at ease any.
The hate I have for them is the pain I'm in when I'm in the machine in a terrible position for extended periods of time

MRIs are cool. Hardest part about them is paying for them and sitting in the machine.Absolutely this. Just close your eyes and daydream while you wait. Theyre easy to do, just expensive and a little time consuming.
The info you get from them help you out a great deal. Helped me out a lot with knee issues I had. Let me know it wasn't serious but I also wasn't immortal
i had to get one during the "seizure incident" back when i didn't decide to use Air conditioning. not enough fluids and it was a hot house. have no memory of it occurring and then waking up in the back of an ambulance. they said i was dehydrated bad. though the MRI couldn't pick up anything going wrong in my brain that would've triggered it.Yep electrolyte balance is important to avoid seizures even if you don't have epilepsy.
ended up with a fucked up back for a month and a hurt arm for 2 weeks (seems the jerking movements of seizures can hurt the muscles badly).
