DeSantis, but mostly for his actions as governor. If he had half of Trump's "charisma" i think he likely could've been even worse for america than trump.

I don't find trump charismatic, but he does have a cult behind him so some people do.

Because they use to say the quiet part quiet.

Hating Muslims was Stopping Terrorism - I didnt agree with the tactics but Im in favor of stopping terrorism. Hating Mexicans was Protecting jobs - I wasnt a fan of how they didnt, it Im in favor of protecting jobs.

Not saying I voted for Republicans, I disagreed with them on policy, but I didnt hate them.

Then came Trump and their true nature boiled to the surface, and now it is an entire political party that makes me sick to my stomach.

BTW there are many politicians before Trump I hate but they are more characters from history I view my opinion of politics starting with the election of Bush 2.

DeSantis, definitely. There's still some modicum of wiggle room to give Trump the benefit of the doubt that his Covid bungling was motivated at least in part by incompetence, while DeSantis' was 100 percent malice. If I was stuck in a room with Trump I would probably needle him with insults until he either left in a huff or charged at me tiny fists flailing; if I were stuck in a room with DeSantis I don't think I could last five seconds without punching him in the face.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.

There are plenty of shitty ones I deeply dislike. Trump has dug out a special level to himself because of this bizarre cult of personality he has. I cannot understand the mind of someone who looks at him and sees anything other than a demented, racist, deeply insecure and insincere pathological liar with a business career built on bull shit. He's so blatantly fake, and low class from the way he speaks, the way he dresses to his tan, his hair and his smile. He's a cheaply gold plated turd and nothing else.

I know there are plenty on the right who see him for what he really is and back him for political reasons, it's the true believers that baffle me.

Mostly because I haven't had to hear about any other politician neatly as much.

People didn't make "Liking Bush" their entire personality. Scores of families weren't destroyed because Republicans were telling people that anyone that wasn't voting for them, family included, was the enemy.

I haven't seen America so openly divided in my lifetime before Trump came along.

Even Desatan wouldn't be anywhere near as bad if he wasn't trying to emulate Trump.

He's genuinely a monster.
