I'm looking forward to it, I've been replaying DAI and all of its DLC in preparation, almost done, so it'd be nice to know when I have to be finished byRumored to be October. Roadmap already revealed and ign starts coverage in September.
I don't have exceptionally high hopes for it, not to be a Debby Downer
After the trainwreck that was Inquisition, I have extraordinarily low expectations
I will pick it up when it is $5
Reducing companions by one and removing control of them IS a downer. I really hope they remedy that after this game. The first one I can deal with, but the second is a real downer.Removing a companion is a big downer, but you already had basically no control over them in DAI, and I wasn't expecting that to change.

Removing a companion is a big downer, but you already had basically no control over them in DAI, and I wasn't expecting that to change.I only see it as a major problem if, like in DAI, there are areas that can only be accessed by a specific class. With 3, I could cover the 2 I couldn't do myself and bring whoever I wanted as a 4th. But if only 2 companions, if I'm playing a mage, I would feel forced to always bring warrior and rogue and another mage would never see the light of day when exploring.

They just screwed up.
looks like it could be good...I hope.
did they say if this is going to be a trilogy?
oh yea, true; I'd forgotten about Inquisition.Don't think they have, but if it isn't, let's pray it doesn't take another 12 years
thanks.
did they say whether this is the end of the main story arc, or not?
Don't think they have, but if it isn't, let's pray it doesn't take another 12 yearsyea, how I feel.
Kind of crazy just how good of a trailer this was in comparison to the other. I guess marketing is finally listening to feedback. Never played a single DA game so I may not get this one if it requires knowledge from previous games.Typically, they're standalone aside from some references or returning characters from previous games, but this might be an exception and it's highly recommended that you play Inquisition and the Trespasser DLC
yea, how I feel.On the bright side, the last few info dumps have gotten me pretty excited, yeah, it sucks that it's a 3 man party, with uncontrollable party members, but damn am I happy that you get to pick from multiple factions for your character's background, and it sounds like they're putting more emphasis on things like characters, and player choice
Did it get announced yet?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8DkDQhPx2A

lolStory progression is locked behind doing at least some of them. That's not even my main complaint about the game though, I felt the storyline was disjointed and I didn't care for any of the companions at all.
Inquisition was fine. If you got sidetracked in the Hinterlands and did the MMO lite stuff until your eyes bled, thats on you.

I think it's on sale for a few bucks still if you're interested
Never even heard of this. What is it?
Origins was great. The rest...not so much
Curious question, is the game like a MMORPG or something. I'm just looking briefly at screenshots and it seems that way. What kind of game is Dragon Age?Its a single player game meant to look like an MMORPG.
