A separate MAGA pastor also prayed for divine intervention during the debate beforehand. Something about wanting God to silence the liar and the spirit of truth to descend upon the debate.
So, it sounds like He listened and gave them exactly what they asked for.
Or they can admit their God is weak and able to be stopped by mortals with sage wands and crystals. Their choice.
