Perhaps we have sensationalized our differences and have used dangerous vocabulary to describe people we disagree with (nazi, fascists, etc). Perhaps over half the population aren't evil people but just have a difference of opinion than you do. Perhaps we have all fallen victim to the media demonizing one another for clicks and views. Perhaps we should take a step back and realize that we're going to be okay.

Peaceful coexistence should still be the end goal. For many it isn't, but its going to become a necessity eventually.

We have a long road to that

When I was in college I tried to go back to church for a brief period, but that decision only served to be a reminder of why I left in the first place. I was at a church I had never been to before. At the end of the service they were having a dedication for newborn babies. I didnt know any of those people, but I still respectfully sat through it. Im not joking when I say over half the congregation were rushing out the door, no doubt trying to get a table at their favorite restaurant. All I could think was how rude it was. I thought, is this how Christians treat members of their own church family? I never went back to that church. I tried a couple of others but it was generally all the same nonsense. I havent looked back since

I think any medications you are taking during pregnancy should be talked about with your doctor and the risks should be evaluated on whether or not you should still take them.

I feel the reason is lack of conviction. They want to focus on themselves or their families only, but not being misjudged for it.

My guess is that most people were very conflicted by their decision and it was probably pretty tough. I didnt see a lot of enthusiasm for Trump

In all honesty? yes, but I have a different definition than a lot of people (mine is more that trolling = offensive or annoying views, intentional or not, rather than shitposting. In other words, don't think you are being at all disingenuous about your beliefs. Just like someone who posts "GTAIV sucks!" or "Christianity sucks!" may genuinely believe that. *FYI this was the Gamefaqs definition of trolling prior to 2021.*)

Uh, probably because they don't think they'd get away with it? Honestly, this is the one and only thing that keeps a surprising number of people in check. I mean, studies have shown that the death penalty doesn't deter capital crime because most people who commit crimes either act without thinking or assume that they won't be caught. (and in the case of less serious crimes, out of desperation -- though in this case, people are going to go with the method that requires the least amount of effort and personal risk, e.g. pocketing shit/porch theft, or less often burglary will be the preferred methods.)

Burglary (unless you're breaking into the house of someone you know fairly well) also requires a fair amount of effort and free time, because you need to know your victim's schedule and whether or not there is a dog in the house if you don't want to get caught, bitten, or shot.)
