Absolutely part of my youth. John Hughes was a massive part of the 80's responsible for many of my absolute favorite brat pack type movies. This has two comedy legends in it.

I do like it, but it is not my favorite John Candy movie. In fact I'd put it behind multiple movies like Summer Rental, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, and Spaceballs.

It helps when it has two comedic legends in their prime, Steve Martin and John Candy are both some of the funniest comedic actors to ever live.

This movie is an all time great. Just reading through the thread made me laugh.

I thought we agreed that this movie is one of the GOATs as part of the social contract?

It's a classic. I turned it on for Thanksgiving and kids were complaining it's an old movie. They all came around to cracking up.
Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.

High five for Wings. Im a tv junkie that has a ton of favorite shows but seriously this one was high on my list. An all time favorite and one of the best shows of the 90s. Seriously awesome.
