I work in a trade that supplies material for new home building, so it was business as usual for us doing that time. But since everyone decided they wanted to buy a new house during that time it was pretty stressful. People constantly having to miss work due to getting sick or waiting to find out if they test positive for COVID. Then came the supply chain issues of being able to get the material needed to build these homes while these home builders kept on with these accelerated build schedules.
The only thing I miss about that time since we couldn't really go out and do anything. My friends and I were able to play video games online with each other again. They worked as well but it was nice that we were all off by night time that we could set the same time for months for us all to hop on and play something.
