It has only 10 years old but it totally feels like something from a different era. If something like this was released today it would constantly be called "woke" and "DEI" while some others say it is super problematic for glorying the Founding Fathers. Also, I can't imagine it becoming a smash hit because of the unbelievable cheesiness in it totally goes against the mood of people in America today.

That first Act is stacked. Kinda slowed down in Act 2

I probably should have put more Act 1 songs in. I'm the sole voter for an Act 2 song, The Room Where It Happens. Love the Disney villain song energy it gives off.

Underrated, but I really like One Last Time a lot.

I think it feels about 10 years old when you account for the fact that Hamilton as a "phenomenon" lasted a long time after it first came out with the Disney+ recording of the theatrical production coming out in 2020. I don't think it feels like longer ago than that, folks complaining about "DEI" hasn't gone on for that long and it did stir up some controversy amongst conservatives at some point.

I also concur that it sucks though. The music is ass and LMM is a hack. My Shot is probably the best song from it.

10 years sounds about right, actually.

And I've only watched it once, but Johnathan Groff was my favorite thing about it, so anything with King George.
