I actually liked the peaceful king and the scheming more in season 1. I think a big detractor of season 2 for me might have been Daemon because I really didnt like his scenes.I actually kinda love his character. Or maybe it's more the actor's portrayal of the character. Idk. I think I'll have to re-watch the first season because I can't really remember a thing about it.
