What I said last post applies to your entire argument.
Your post was incredibly reductive and frames what I said as suggesting that I'm saying the States is hyper individualistic because we don't have children bathe together any more. So no, I read exactly what you said and am calling it out.
If you disagree then make your case for why finding communal bathing weird and working towards eliminating it isn't at all a symptom and/or a contributing factor.

And see, you're hung up on kids bathing together. That's your framing, not mine. Curious why you jump to that specifically. When I think of communal bathing I think of the gym, I think of the pool, I think of onsens. Why are you hung up on kids?
