Is the show good? Im kind of burnt out on all the non-mainline shows.

Show is the easily some of the best Star Wars content of all time, and I'm not exaggerating.
It's legitimately almost too good for Star Wars honestly lol

Is the show good? Im kind of burnt out on all the non-mainline shows. Are you fucking kidding? People can't stop gushing about it. Watch it!
Finished the first episode and am watching the second one tonight. I felt it was a really strong episode and having the focus on fewer characters was a huge benefit.
I like that they were able to a side story episode that was actually amazing. Usually when the focus shifts for an entire episode in other shows, it just seems off. And nice for Kleya to get some love.
Is the show good? Im kind of burnt out on all the non-mainline shows.setting aside nostalgia it's probably the best star wars ever
And yes, it's hardly a spoiler but, you're meant to watch Rogue One literally right after this.Ep 12, Rogue One, and ANH about to be the new trilogy.
I might need to re-watch season 1 firstYou can always read the episode synopses on Wikipedia. That's what I did as a reminder prior to S2
My new head canon is that everyone who survived is around for A New Hope, but die on the way to Hoth in the Ison corridor or something.

Vel, Wil, etc.
They could just be off on other missions. I dont think the entire fleet was always together in one place. That would be bad strategy.Yeah that was a big message of the ending to Andor. The rebellion is everywhere.
Rebels establishes that there are lots of cells operating, and not always with the same agenda. I know they coalesced into the Rebel Alliance, but Im sure there were still numerous sleeper cells that needed to be monitored/recruited/supported etc.
The only thing that was weird to me was that we never saw the declaration of rebellion or that oh shit moment when the entire council realizes a super weapon. Dodonna strangely absent.Isn't all that part of the Rogue One movie, you know the thing that takes place right after Andor ends
The only thing that was weird to me was that we never saw the declaration of rebellion or that oh shit moment when the entire council realizes a super weapon. Dodonna strangely absent. The council can't find out about the Death Star until after Rogue one. Remember even in that film teh Empire declared a minning disaster destroyed the city they tested it on.
Krennic was fucking awesome here. Easily his best scenes to date.Fun fact: according to Declassified , Ben decided on the spur of the moment to poke Denise on the top of the head and put some weight on her. Her look of surprise and discomfort is genuine.
I'm not even sure what she regrets or keeps having breakdowns over. Playing Syril to death? Going rogue? Surely not Ghorman itself.I think she maybe did feel bad about Syril in episode 8. At the end though, she was simply feeling sorry for herself. I mean, life in prison most likely.
Dedra was a true believer in the Empire.Even when arrested she goes along with it thinking she can 'clear it all up'. She got what she deserved.
In the end, her efforts to safeguard it only made herself look like its enemy. She lost the one man she ever loved and she found herself on the receiving end of what she so frequently weaponized herself
I'm not even sure what she regrets or keeps having breakdowns over. Playing Syril to death? Going rogue? Surely not Ghorman itself.
She did show a little resistance towards the end of Ghorman, nothing near a redemption or rebuke of the Imperial tactics, but she was hesitating with Partagaz and was not happy when it was obvious the Empire was going to false flag into the Ghorman massacre. How else she had convinced herself this was going to play out I don't know, but she was at least wavering.
As to the characters left, we can hold out hope that the show continues its themes under another name maybe. Certainly there is more to explore and we even know there are spy stories to explore in the run up to the discovery of the Death Star 2 plans. But given this was more critical success than financial I'm not holding my breath and will just enjoy what we did get.
I'm not even sure what she regrets or keeps having breakdowns over. Playing Syril to death? Going rogue? Surely not Ghorman itself. She was uneasy about what the scale of the Ghorman Massacre would be, but what caused her to breakdown in that episode was clearly Syril's death. As to the finale, she's had her career implode, lost everything she still had, and is now in prison. I'd be crying too.
At least she has a chance to get out in like, 6 or 7 yearsNah, she's in for life. When Cassian was sent to prison, the Empire increased all sentences by a factor of 10 I believe. Even if her case was re-examined by the New Republic, they would know what she did. There's no way she's getting out.
I'm not even sure what she regrets or keeps having breakdowns over. The reality of her situation. On Ghorman, it was because she realized the magnitude of what she had done. In prison, that she was responsible for destroying her own life. She might end up taking her own life by stepping on the floor.

There's no way she's getting out.In the Mandalorian, they show that there's a New Republic Amnesty Program where they rehabilitate and reintegrate former Imperials. I wouldn't be surprised she gets out.
At the very least, they probably won't have her doing slave labor.IDK, man, seemed pretty clear she was in the Narkina complex to me.
