Awesome accomplishment. I also like how he kept up kayfabe by giving the sherpas his ring name and not his real name. Now he just has to safely make it back down the mountain without succumbing to any intrusive thoughts about doing a Coffin Drop off of it.

Wow. I legit didnt think hes do it. Now he just needs to survive the climb back down. Theres plenty of people who made it to the top but died back down.

Melissa Arnot was the first woman to climb Everest without oxygen assistance and come home ( she's climbed it six times in total ). There was another woman that tried before her, but didn't make it back down. Coming back must suck.

Knowing Tony Khan, he probably gave Darby two options and let him make the choice. Either put off doing the climb for a few years, be pushed as the next top hero face, and win the AEW world title off of Moxley, or do the climb now, give up him spot so the booking can pivot to someone else, and no promises on Darby's booking when he gets back. And of course, we all know what choice Darby made in that case, and I'm sure TK would respect it too.
