I could never eat a bug that looks like a bug, I can barely handle being near 'em. But I think I could get myself to eat one that had been ground down into a bar or something. Might take a bit of effort but I'm not against the idea.

I went to see a Mariners game while visiting Seattle back in 2018. They had toasted grasshoppers at the ballpark, so me and my 3 friends got some. They tasted fine. Crispy. And the chile-lime was the overwhelming flavor of them.

I've had cricket protein bars. You couldn't tell it had crickers as they were ground into flour and it was one of the best-tasting protein bars I've ever had.

I'd eat an unobscured bug for sure, though. No different than crab or lobster to me.

Before I went vegetarian I had crickets, grasshoppers and mealworms,

Not bugs but I've also eaten scorpions and one tarantula.

I had a protein bar made with cricket flour once and it was awful.

Absolutely not. I don't eat much meat to start with, but I would rather go 100% vegan than eat a bug.
