I remember the song clearly said chuck e cheeses where a kid can be a kid. Did they change the song too?

Also why isnt it Chunky Cheese? Thats a better name

I'm from the Discovery Zone generation.

Chuck E. Cheeses bought my local DZ after it shut down and converted it over.

They kept a lot of the fun jungle gym stuff for a long time but it gradually became lamer.

DZ had a lot of actual arcade games and pinball. I have fond memories playing the Starship Troopers table they had.

I always presumed that they were the same since there was advertising explicitly stating "Showbiz Pizza is now Chuck E. Cheese's." Might have been advertising by the local franchisees but I know people from other areas with similar recollections.
