That 60fps Bayonetta 3 almost makes me want to go out and get one... almost.

I really like MVG honestly, but I don't feel like watching that right now.

Is it every game, or just games with special enhancement patches?

Every game with uncapped frame rates and dynamic resolution will run better and sharper out the box.

Pokmon Violet was like night and day when I tried it last night. It felt so weird it was actually running at 60 FPS, lol.

Ah, that's pretty cool. Makes me want one even more so I go through my library and experiment.

However, it _could_ also be a bad thing depending on the game. If a game was programmed with frame specific logic and the devs didn't bother capping it, that could lead to a ton of issues.

I want to say most devs arn't that naive, but I know damn well that's not true unfortunately, especially with smaller indie titles.

I've seen that in two performance videos lol. I think the one I linked was like "for $10 it isn't a bad version now."

It's stable 30 on Switch 2 at least.

One thing in the video is that BL3 uncapped runs at 60 in its uncapped but has a bunch of screen tearing. So I expect mileage will vary.

It still has issues but yeah, a huge improvement.

And Shiny hunters are losing their shit now because the massive increase in the amount of wild Pokemon that can appear on-screen has also caused a massive increase in how often Shinies are appearing.
