Saw Captain America Brave New World. Was this supposed to be bad?

Current Events

It was fine, Carl Lumbly did a great job as usual and Harrison Ford actually seemed to care for one in his role. My main "issues" with it were the obvious reshoot villain in Sidewinder and Leader just kinda went "aw fuck it" at the end for no real reason. Really should have kept the real Serpent Society in it. They were cut because they were apparently too "comic booky" for the audience which is...what the hell do you think you're watching?

The main problem I feel with the general audience was that people were REALLY hoping (for whatever reason) that this movie would "save" the MCU from its current mediocrity. But it was only just fine but people were so disappointed that they kinda trashed it more than it deserved. The effect bled into Thunderbolts which was actually good but people seemed so down from their hopes for Cap that they didn't really care much.

Movie should have stuck to its guns with the original script instead of trying to chase the second coming of Winter Soldier. It's a glorified Hulk movie. Don't be afraid to get a little nuts.
