You can do all the mental gymnastics and twist the facts all you want:No facts were twisted. They're just facts.
Cornette is one of the most out-of-touch people when it comes to modern wrestling, but he's almost always on point when it comes to political takes.
Yep, still no self respect.
You don't show up to a glorified Trump rally where only supporters of Trump were allowed to attend and claim you're not MAGA.
I find this fucked up, is no better than the bigotry on the right and makes you a hypocrite. Professional wrestling is a industry with people from all walks of life just like any other.
Tony Khan's dad donated a million dollars to Trump.

Shad Khan seems like the type of rich guy who supports Republicans economically but not on social issues. He clearly spoken out against racism and against Trump's views on multiple occasions, and I can't find any evidence of him mirroring his 2016 donation in 2020 or 2024.

So I'm pretty sure he's not a chud, or at least, he's on the right side in terms of the social issues.
The point I was trying to make in general is that the actions at the top, or by more prolific bad actors, don't reflect everybody.
Maybe the good ones are out-numbered by the bad, who knows. But we have examples of people like Omega, Becky, etc. blatantly being on the right side of things, so it's unfair to say "100%."

Like, "social liberal/fiscal conservative" is just MAGAt with a mask on.
But it seems like he dropped his support since you can't find him donating to Trump's other campaigns.
Exactly. Shad Khan probably donated to the 2016 campaign thinking Trump would just be another Republican president who would help give tax breaks to the rich, then regretted it as soon as the Muslim ban and other anti-immigration stuff started becoming much more prominent parts of his campaign and denounced it afterwards. He still identify as "fiscally conservative?"
He still identify as "fiscally conservative?"
Cornette's takes on wrestling really aren't that bad or extreme or out of touch.

You're telling me Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are chuds? Pls no!
Nah there are still liberal wrestlers in WWE. CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Roxanne Perez to name a few. I think a lot of the more liberal wrestlers know not to be vocal right now though.
CM Punk literally went to a No Kings protest in person last week. He earned a lot of respect from me with that.and now he's going to wrestle in Saudi Arabia

Wasn't CM Punk a hardcore Christian or something early in his WWE career? Or was that just his wrestling persona back then? I just remember him being very religious.
Straight edge society. It was a drug free cult stable were he was looking like Charles Manson.
