I'm in a weird spot with Chrome right now. I'm very deep in the Google ecosystem. Edge is growing on me but only if you make the address bar behave like Chrome.

Google is being very evil by not allowing someone to have both Chrome syncing and Chrome add-ons in the same application on mobile.

"Where are you thinking of going?"

"To Edge."

You can't make this up.

Add-ons force the situation. Chrome for Android does not support any.

Your only decent choices for syncing between PC and phone are Firefox and Edge.

Me. I have a Google phone now, but it downloaded Samsung Internet when I was syncing my apps from my last phone, and the adblock still works, so I've kept it. Gamefaqs hasn't signed me out at all.
Hambo's alt.
Can apps see the passwords saved to Firefox on phone? I've just stuck with chrome for that convenience.

Never heard of Brave.
I have primarily used firefox and firefox-based (e.g., palemoon) browsers for the last 20 years or so.

Made the switch back to Firefox (from Chrome) several months ago, using it for both PC and mobile.

Also use Firefox for work, though a few of the sites we use have forced me to use Edge.

There is a toggle switch to disable this at least. Pretty lame they made it enabled by default though.

Weren't there supposed to be other forms of data collection, too? Firefox used to never gather data at all, and that's what I want.

I forgot about that. There was some problematic wording in their new ToU that was raising red flags. I don't know what that was about or if anything came of it.

The last time I used Chrome was 2012, for some reason it kept deleting my bookmarks at the time so I went back to Firefox and never came back.

I've used Chrome for a very very long time but have been strongly considering switching as they continue their all-out assault on adblockers.
I've almost always used a FireFox derivative since the mid-2000s.

Right now I'm on the LibreWolf bandwagon, before that it was WaterFox.

I was actually surprised to see Firefox have such a lead. I wonder if we lean so highly on Firefox due the years of GameFAQs addons in the early 2010's.
