I was in the middle of the first book and got hooked. Unfortunately Isles of the Emberdark is out and my friends will throw a hissy fit at me if I don't read it before continuing with the 2nd Dungeon Crawler Carl book.
Who is? I am!
I have a friend whos been going through the series (on book 6 now I think?), and he says its one of the best world building and written series he's ever read.

I think the series was digital first, then limited paperback. Now it's mass produced hardcover.
Never heard of it until I saw this topic.

Upon reading the reading title, I want to see Dungeon Crawler Carl Brutananadilewski

Weird coincidence, I'm on book 4 now and just read the Bobiverse series as my last read

I'm loving it, and yeah, definitely see Bobiverse similarities
Read them all a little while ago and really enjoyed them. The latest book was the weakest for me but still good. First time reading litrpg so didn't know what to expect but thought it was done in a really fun way.
My coworker is listening to it on audiobook, didn't know it was a popular thing

I finished the first book this week and it's fantastic.
Advice from a dryer: Open the door to amazement. Don't shrink from your true calling. Accept life's wrinkles. Avoid overload. Reach into mystery!
Now on book 4

Forgot about this topic.

Well finished Isles of the Emberdark (such a fantastic book) and now I'm in the middle of reading the 2nd DCC book.

I've been making my way through it and just finished up book 6. I've been really enjoying it.

I feel like I've had my fill of litrpg after completing it though, same way I was over progression fantasy after reading Cradle.
