As it goes farther down, it becomes more risky. So an A is fine, a B is probably fine but bring it up first, C is "definitely talk to your doctor," D is "only if it's completely necessary for the mother," and X is "ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT."

For an example, Accutane was X. It was basically illegal to prescribe to anyone with a uterus without first doing a pregnancy test (even for children), and pregnant women could not touch it with their ungloved hands without putting the fetus at risk.

Acetaminophen is B, along with a few other NSAIDS like naproxen.

However, aspirin is C at a low dose and D at the therapeutic (or usual "bottle instructions") dose.

Acetaminophen is arguably the safest NSAID, which they correctly stated, but not the only drug in general that pregnant people can take.
