The woman that I'm with loves my parents. She is intelligent and level headed. If she were insulting my parents, there would be a very strong reason for it. They would have done something to deserve it and any insult would be directly related to that action. She would never say the things in the OP.
I wish I had walked in here and you were taking a dump on the couch, or doing homework. Anything would be better than that.
