Gotta buy an overpriced accessory to play the whopping 30 VB games?yes, but not even that many, and of course it requires the more expensive subscription, don't forget that
Also the VB games will be drip fed over the next couple years.
Gotta buy an overpriced accessory to play the whopping 30 VB games? This is the only baffling thing about the VB announcement. I could see needing it if you want the 3D effect, but to even PLAY them in the first place? That doesn't sound right.
Main take away for me was the release date of the Mortal Kombat Kollection.
Digital version- 30th October
Physical version- 12th December
The physical version release date had already been known since the pre-orders went up. It was just the digital date that wasn't known (although it did leak the other day).
Virtual Boy games on Switch 2... just lol. Who asked for that shitIf they have Wario Land I sure as fuck did
I recall saying smells like Wii U 2.0 and got lots of hate for it
It has more exclusives in its launch year than Wii U did in 3 years and that's not including the crossgen games that Wii U didn't have or the fact that it's the best selling launch in history and has already made half of Wii U's 5 year lifespan in 1 month. I'm sure TC himself would consider this a moronic clown take.Pretty much. Switch 2 already has loads more motion than Wii U ever got, so it's really not a fair comparison.

I asked for a physical collection on the 3DS, not a subscription only release that requires a peripheral. Got monkey paw-edThere's a homebrew VB emulator for the 3DS that has a lot of features, customizable color palettes and even customizable 3D settings so the effect can look as it did on original hardware or more tailored to the 3DS. If you haven't tried it I can't recommend it enough.
I recall saying smells like Wii U 2.0 and got lots of hate for itThe Wii U had New Super Mario Bros U at launch and did not have a second game until 8 months into the system's life, btw. Just thought that'd be an interesting fact to throw out for all the people who did not own a Wii U but act like experts on it.
I suppose it's a plus that Galaxy 2 is made available again though I don't know if you can buy it individually.
Any Animal Crossing news? Just curious. If we get anything it'll be a mid-late 2026 launch at the earliest. There's a lot of overlap between the AC and Splatoon devs and EPD is busy with Splatoon Raiders. The only semblance of news we got were a few rumors that the next AC game would have a larger, open world formula.
Any Animal Crossing news? Just curious.No. But they did announce a pokemon meets animal crossing game.
Any Animal Crossing news? Just curious.
I got a Hades II 1.0 release date so I'm satisfied. This is all I asked for, and I also got a surprise Dragon Quest VII remake and Donkey Kong DLC.

Again, posts like above show who owned and who didn't own a Wii U. I got mine 2012 for Christmas, and had fun with NSMBU and Nintendo Land, but it was a dry season until I got MH3U in March I want to say (maybe April).
The Switch 2 is not nearly as good as the Switch's launch year, but it's better than quite a few of the other Nintendo launch years. 2017 was just a legendary year for Nintendo gamers altogether.
People generally don't factor in third party games unless they're significant or exclusive. Like, we're talking about Scribblenauts, FIFA, NBA 2K, Madden, Just Dance, Black Ops 2, Epic Mickey 2, Batman Arkham City. Were you really gonna be playing these on Wii U and were they going to sell you on the console? Probably not.
