Have no familiarity with the manga but loved the first two seasons and Ive really been looking forward to this.

Honestly I don't know why they would even really continue the series. I thought the final episode of season 2 was a natural stopping point, but I guess they have to explore the last card in the deck for some unknown reason.

Yeah, I don't think continuing past season 2 is necessary. It feels like it told a complete story from beginning to end and wrapped everything up as well as they could considering how much of a live-action anime it turned into.
