Yes, definitely. As long as we can shoot the **** on GFAQs. I have hope. In the cosmic scheme of things, nothing is inevitable (have to thank Boston College Prof. Heather Cox Richardson for that phrase). I may not see the truly better days, but I'll be damned to sit here and not at least do what's in my power to participate in my democracy.
We're in a dark period right now. But there's been many "dark periods" in the history of the world. The truth is Trump is weak, and he's being so bombastic for exactly thus. So, I am grateful to be healthy (have an awesome family and friends) and live in a relatively safe country, but I also do not take this for granted and want to see better for my fellow country folk (maybe not MAGAs - they need to be tried and serve prison sentences), but for law-abiding people, I want to see brighter days.
The "moral arc" is long and "bends towards justice" but not by default, we must do our part to make the reality so.
My two cents.
Bleep blorp, I am an unfeeling ConstitutionBot. Laws are static and not open to interpretation. KLANK! What is this hu-man emotion called... love?-Swedish sven
