Its not music but the sound in Maguss castle triggers me because I played in there my first time when my cat was sick and passed shortly after (I thought he was just trying to hack a hair ball but it got worse and I put the game away of course)
Legend of Legaia is the best game ever

yep. there's the few geniuses who manage to make timeless classics like yuzo koshiro, but for the most part it's all just scratching noises.

It's not really a bad theme but I grew to hate the world map theme in Dragon Quest XI. I was overjoyed when I saw I could switch it to the music from 8
Delicious and vicious, while maliciously nutritious.

God the sega genesis was such a wildcard of a console when it comes to music.

If the dev knew what they were doing then they produced magic.

However imo most dev's genesis games sounded like this kind of crap, lol:

To this day the forest stage in NES double dragon still cracks me the hell up. I used to make my dad and big bro laugh their asses off because they'd just be looking at me everytime that one section in the music would come up knowing that I'm about to cry laugh.

Yeah, that one is great. Honestly most versions of that forest music is good. Double dragon advance's is how I imagine its supposed to sound like, and double dragon gaiden's is what its like with a kick-ass remix.

I guess to be fair to whatever the hell the NES version was doing in that specific section even the arcade original had that goofy part that sounds a little odd.
