Definitely take it in. idk how much the bill will be, but it sounds like small claims court. If not, yeah, hire an attorney. You're insured so there shouldn't be an initial fee.
edit: Also, the sooner the better. It's harder to argue the truck driver caused the damage if you wait a month to report it.
