A popular geezer like Mills with a proven track record at winning statewide races in Maine is better than a person that had to get a Nazi tattoo covered up, especially someone that allegedly bragged about it previously.
Is it possible that it was an honest mistake. Maybe, there are sadly loads of Croat nazis, but even still having such a tattoo and having people willing to state that he knew what it was is a fullblown disqualifier in a party that has standards.
I believe getting it was a mistake. I don't think he is a Nazi.
But he clearly thinks it's some silly little joke thing to keep on his body
