I don't know how you derive "twitch is done" when the only other contenders in the streaming space are youtube (which is hardly feature complete even after years of building up their streaming capability), and a handful of sites people go to when they're banned from twitch for being fundamentally broken human beings

Like, the niche is there. The people in it run the gamut from alright to horrible, but nobody's taking up the challenge of competing (largely because it's impossible to actually compete with google and amazon's resources)

That being said, would be surprised if that guy still has a twitch channel after this.
Why not go all in?

No surprise. IIRC several years ago there was some thing with a friend of his being exposed for sexually assaulting someone and he tried to run defense for that friend of his. Might have even been a thing where he knew it was happening and helped cover it up, but I dont remember the exact details. Wouldnt surprise me at all if it was true that he was also doing it.

I finally understand it now though.

The biggest issue is because 99.99% of the time I never know who these streamers/youtubers are and know none of the background on any of this so I have no frame of reference to decipher it.
