Dunno. I went straight from living with my parents to buying a place and then living with a girlfriend and roommate. The only time I ever really "lived" alone was when I lived out of a hotel room M-F while traveling for work, and that was... meh. Obviously, that's a unique situation, so I want to try living alone at least once to see if I'd enjoy it.

The past 2 years I've been living alone for the first time in a long time (excluding living in a single dorm which isn't exactly alone) and it's good in ways and bad in others. It really depends what kind of place you live in, if you can invite friends over and such.

I do live by myself. Outside of the fear that I'll stroke out or have a heart attack at home and no one will know or come looking for me until I've been dead for a week it's pretty nice.
