SHORT-TERM MEMORY
: Affects the ability to remember recent events. You can remember what happened a couple of minutes ago, but you can't remember what you had for breakfast this morning. You can remember events from years ago, but you can't remember what happened on that show you watched last night or the game you played after it (you can remember watching/playing them). You can only remember something your boss told you if it's essential to your job duty. Basically, you'd have developing Alzheimer's.
SOCIETY:
The general populace. Without this, you'd be a shut-in and would never be able to speak to anyone else ever again. You would instead be forced to use your own devices. However, this would NOT remove other people from the planet - you would still be able to submit work like an indie game to Steam or a piece of writing to a blogging site and you would be able to get a confirmation email or feedback. You would not be able to engage in a non-business conversation otherwise.
JOY:
The state of elation. Instead, you would be either "nonchalant" or miserable. Nothing would make you happy ever again and you would have to learn to adapt.
